Kenseth's suspension upheld twice

Joe Gibbs Racing made two appeals to NASCAR Thursday of their driver Matt Kenseth's two-race suspension for intentionally wrecking Joey Logano out of the lead during Sunday's Sprint Cup race in Martinsville, Virginia. NASCAR upheld the suspension at the end of both appeals. Kenseth is now confirmed to be sitting out the next two Sprint Cup Series races, in Fort Worth, Texas and Avondale, Arizona, which are the second and third races of round 3 of the Chase for the Sprint Cup, known as the Eliminator Round. This is to the dismay of fans who have called for NASCAR to "free Matt" because they see nothing wrong with Kenseth's actions due to the long-standing "Drivers' Code" that often dictates how competitors treat each other on the track.
