Dale Earnhardt Jr. wins rain-shortened Phoenix Cup race; Logano eliminated from Chase

Dale Earnhardt Jr. stole the win in Sunday's Sprint Cup Eliminator round finale at Phoenix International Raceway in a rain-delayed affair, during which Kevin Harvick led the majority of the 220 of 312 laps completed. During green-flag pit stops, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Joey Gase crashed to bring out a caution. Dale Jr. cycled to the lead after Jeff Gordon pitted, with Harvick second and Chase bubble driver Joey Logano third. Yet another rain shower came during the cleanup and the track was lost, sending the drivers to pit road for good. Logano, his teammate Brad Keselowski, Kurt Busch and Carl Edwards were eliminated from championship contention.
