Viva Motorsports closes up shop

Xfinity Series team Viva Motorsports has ceased operations following Saturday's race at Michigan. The team had announced a couple of days before that their closure was likely imminent. Viva's #55 Chevrolet Camaro was piloted by Jamie Dick as well as Jeffrey Earnhardt when Dick took a few races off after being diagnosed with early-onset diabetes in March following the race at Phoenix. Both drivers are reportedly looking into arrangements to get rides for the rest of the season, although they will probably not be entered into every remaining race of the season, through the finale at Homestead in November.
